Sushil Sharma given additional charge as CMD, SJVN

New Delhi: Sushil Sharma has been given the additional charge as Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of SJVN Limited, formerly known as Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam, on Thursday. Sharma is serving as Director (Projects) in the organisation currently.
According to SJVN's notification, his additional charge comes into effect from May 1 for a period of three months or until further orders.
"Ministry of Power through its order dated May 2, 2024, has entrusted Sushil Sharma, Director (Projects), SJVN Limited with an additional charge of the post of Chairman & Managing Director and Director (Personnel), SJVN Ltd," SJVN said in a regulatory filing on Thursday.
Sharma did his B.E. (Mechanical) from VNIT, Nagpur. He has more than 30 years of experience in various organisations. He started his career in HP State Technical Education Service in 1990. He joined SJVN in January, 1994 as Assistant Engineer and worked in various Departments / Projects. /BI
