New Delhi: A ceremonial programme marking the progress of IRFC’s CSR-supported initiatives at B.R. The Executive Director (HR), IRFC, attended the function as the Guest of Honour and represented IRFC. He felicitated the AGM/ER on behalf of IRFC; was also felicitated too by some very senior Eastern Railway echelons.

Although the CMD, IRFC could not be present physically due to some last minute exigencies, his leadership found repeated and heartfelt acknowledgement throughout the programme. Speaker after speaker appreciated his positive vision, proactive stewardship, and unwavering support in extending CSR assistance to this truly बहुजन हिताय initiative. Highlighting the hospital’s pivotal role, the Medical Director observed that BRSH serves not only the employees and pensioners of Eastern Railway but also functions as a referral hospital for East Central, Northeast Frontier, East Coast and South Eastern Railways, besides providing medical care to patients from the neighbouring districts of West Bengal.

The Medical Director presented a lucid chronology of the project, outlining both its physical progress and financial commitment with remarkable clarity. He noted that the project milestones had been achieved almost exactly as scheduled, attributing this to IRFC’s hallmark zero-deviation approach and steadfast commitment to timely execution.

The Executive Director (HR), IRFC, elaborated on the planning, execution and progress of the CSR initiative, underscoring the collaborative vision and meticulous efforts that have shaped the project. The programme reflected the deep appreciation of Eastern Railway towards IRFC’s meaningful partnership and reaffirmed the enduring relationship between the two organisations.

The occasion assumed added significance as B.R. Singh Hospital advances towards its centenary in the coming years. IRFC’s CSR support represents not merely an investment in infrastructure, but a thoughtful contribution towards strengthening the Hospital’s enduring legacy of healing, renewal and compassionate public service. It stands as yet another testimony to IRFC’s unwavering commitment to nation-building through socially impactful initiatives.
