Hyderabad: The Telangana government transferred 13 IAS officers on 11 November 2024, including Excise Commissioner E Sridhar, alongside a reshuffling of eight IFS officers.
E Sridhar, a 2004 batch IAS officer and Commissioner, Prohibition & Excise, has been transferred and appointed as Secretary to Government, BC Welfare Department, duly relieving B Venkatesham, a 1995 batch IAS officer, from FAC of the position. He has also been assigned FAC as Commissioner, Endowments, relieving Zendage Hanumant Kondiba, a 2016 batch IAS officer, from FAC of the role.
Anita Ramachandran, a 2004 batch IAS officer, previously Commissioner, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, has been transferred to Secretary to Government, WCD & SC Department, duly relieving TK Sreedevi from FAC. Ilambarithi K, a 2005 batch IAS officer and Commissioner of Transport, has been reassigned as Commissioner, GHMC. K Surendra Mohan, a 2006 batch IAS officer and Secretary to Government (Mines & Geology), I&C Department, has been transferred as Transport Commissioner.
Chevvuru Hari Kiran, an IAS officer from the 2009 batch, awaiting posting, has been assigned as Director, Prohibition & Excise.
D Krishna Bhaskar, a 2012 batch IAS officer, formerly Special Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister and Special Secretary to Government, Finance & Planning (FAC), has been appointed CMD, TRANSCO, relieving Sandeep Kumar Sultania, a 1998 batch IAS officer, from FAC. Bhaskar will also continue as Special Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister.
Siva Sankar Lotheti, a 2013 batch IAS officer awaiting posting, has been assigned as CEO, Arogyasri Health Care Trust, relieving RV Karnan, a 2012 batch IAS officer, from FAC. Srijana G, a 2013 batch IAS officer awaiting posting, is appointed Director, PR & RD.
Chittem Lakshmi, a 2013 batch IAS officer, has been posted as Director, AYUSH, relieving Christina Z Chongthu, a 2001 batch IAS officer, from FAC. Krishna Aditya S, a 2014 batch IAS officer previously serving as Labour Director, has been transferred as Director, Intermediate Education & Secretary, Board of Intermediate Education, relieving A Sridevasena, a 2008 batch IAS officer, from FAC. He has also been given FAC as VC & MD, Telangana Education & Welfare Infrastructure Development Corporation (TGWEIDC), relieving EV Narsimha Reddy, a 2017 batch IAS officer, from FAC.
Sanjay Kumar, a 1995 batch IAS officer and Principal Secretary to Government, LET&F Department, has taken FAC as Commissioner, Labour. Gaurav Uppal, a 2005 batch IAS officer and Resident Commissioner, Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi, has been given FAC as Secretary to Government (Coordination), General Administration Department.
In the Indian Forest Service reshuffle, Priyanka Varghese, a 2003 batch IFS officer and Chief Conservator of Forests (IT&WP), has been transferred as Chief Conservator of Forests, Charminar Circle. Sivala Ram Babu, a 2011 batch IFS officer, formerly Deputy Conservator of Forests/Conservator of Forests, STC Circle, Hyderabad, has been transferred as District Forest Officer, Jogulamba Circle, Mahabubnagar, with FAC as Field Director, Amrabad Tiger Reserve, until further orders.
Sunil S. Hiremath, a 2011 batch IFS officer, previously Curator at Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad, has been appointed Director, Zoo Parks, Hyderabad. P Sreenivasa Rao, a 1979 batch IFS officer and Joint Director/Deputy Conservator of Forests, FCRI, Mulugu, has been assigned as District Forest Officer, Siddipet. SV Pradeep Kumar Setty, a 2015 batch IFS officer and Director of Urban Forestry, HMDA, Hyderabad, was transferred as Deputy Conservator of Forests, STC Circle, Hyderabad.
K Srinivas has been posted as Director, Urban Forestry, HMDA, Hyderabad, on deputation. J Vasantha, a 1993 batch officer and District Forest Officer, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, was reassigned as Curator, Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad. Mandadi Naveen Reddy, a 2019 batch IFS officer and District Forest Officer, Jogulamba Gadwal & Wanaparthy, has been transferred as District Forest Officer, Jayashankar Bhupalpally.
Smita Sabharwal, an IAS officer from the 2001 batch, has been transferred and posted as Secretary to Government, Youth Advancement, Tourism & Culture, relieving N Sridhar from the Full Additional Charge (FAC) of the post. She has also been assigned FAC of Member Secretary, State Finance Commission, and Director, Archaeology.
