New Delhi: One senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Gujarat cadre has been given the Central posting with immediate effect.

According to an official notification, Mona Khandhar, IAS, an IAS officer of 1996 batch of Gujarat cadre, has been appointed new Principal Secretary, Economic Affairs, in the Finance Department, Ministry of Finance.

She is also in charge of various committees formed by the Department of Industries and Mines for the G-20 Summit, which will be held in Gujarat. /BI/
