AP Govt, international aggregation platform join hands to facilitate overseas jobs

New Delhi: The Andhra Pradesh government is taking steps for skill development to create overseas job opportunities in key sectors while focusing on regions like the Middle East, European Union, Australia, Canada, Japan and the USA.

To realize this vision, AP State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) has signed an MoU with the International Aggregation Platform for Mobility (INLAMOBI).

The INLAMOBI is an initiative designed to streamline and facilitate the process of international mobility and job migration. It serves as a one-stop solution for various needs related to overseas employment, particularly focusing in regions like the Middle East, European Union, Australia, Canada, Japan and the US.

This platform serves as a comprehensive resource for all aspects related to international mobility. From identifying demand to helping migrants integrate into their host countries, the platform will also establish centres of excellence to provide language and future skills training in a structured manner. Both digital platforms and physical classrooms will be utilized for this purpose, and a pilot program in the health and hospitality sector will be initiated.

Officials from said that Andhra Pradesh is well-prepared for international placements due to its robust skilling infrastructure and skilled workforce.

Srikumar Menon, President of Operations at INLAMOBI, highlighted the crucial role of human resources, particularly knowledge and skills, for nation's progress. Menon praised Andhra Pradesh's talent pool, particularly its IT-related skills, and expressed confidence that the MoU between APSSDC and INLAMOBI would effectively streamline employment and job migration processes for the state's youth.

The collaboration between APSSDC and INLAMOBI holds promise in opening doors to exciting opportunities for the youth of Andhra Pradesh, enabling them to thrive in global job markets and contribute to the nation's growth. /BI/
