14 IPS officers get new postings in Delhi Police

New Delhi: Fourteen Indian Police Service (IPS) officers have been given new postings in the Delhi Police. Sanjay Baniwal, Special Commissioner of Police, will look after the Provisioning and Finances Division of the Delhi Police along with the additional charge of Perception Management and Media Cell.

According to an official order, Garima Bhatnagar, 1994 batch IPS officer, has been appointed Special CP, Intelligence Division, while Madhup Kumar Tiwari is the new Special CP, who will look after Protective Security Division. Dheeraj Kumar, 2004 batch IPS officer, has been appointed Joint CP, Crime, while Rishi Pal, also 2004 batch IPS officer, is the new Joint CP, Training and Director, Delhi Police Academy.

Amrendra Kumar Singh has been appointed Joint CP, New Delhi range, while Veenu Bansal will look after Northern Range as a Joint CP. Raj Kumar Singh is the new Joint CP, Legal Division. They all are IPS officers of 2004 batch.

The 2005 batch IPS officer Madhur Verma has been appointed Additional CP, Security, while 2008 batch IPS officer Chinmoy Biswal has been appointed Additional CP, Crime, along with the additional charge of PRO, Delhi Police. His batch mate Ajay Kumar Sharma is Additional CP, Traffic.

Mangesh Kashyap, 2009 batch IPS officer, has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Security, along with Chandan Chowdhary, a 2010 batch IPS officer. Shashank Jaiswal, 2014 batch IPS officer, has been appointed Additional DCP, Traffic. /BI/
