In a major reshuffle in the Police Department, Chhattisgarh government has transferred 14 IPS officers. RK Vij (1988 batch) has been appointed ADGP, Planning Management and Technical Services at the Police headquarters. Ashok Juneja (1989 batch) is the new ADGP, State Intelligence Bureau/Naxal Operation, Police Headquarters, Raipur and ADG, CAF and STF.

Sanjay Pillai (1988 batch) has been promoted and posted as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Jail and Reformation Services. Ravi Sinha (1989 batch), presently on deputation to the Central government, has been promoted to the rank of DG. Pradeep Gupta (1995 batch) will take charge as Director, Public Prosecution, Raipur.

T R Paikra (2002 batch) has been given the charge of Additional Transport Commissioner, Raipur. B S Dhruv (2006 batch) is promoted and posted as AIG, Naxal Operation, PHQ, Raipur, while T Ekka (2006 batch) goes as the Commandant, 2nd Battalion, CAF, Sakari, Bilaspur.

Rajendra Narayan Dash (2006 batch) has been appointed Additional Inspector General (AIG), Recruitment/Selection, PHQ, Raipur. Balajirao Somawar (2007 batch) has been appointed SP, Jaspur. Abhishek Shandilya (2007 batch), who is presently on deputation to the Central government, has been promoted to the selection grade.

Jitendra Singh Meena (2007 batch) has been appointed SP, Balod, while DK Garg (2007 batch) as Commandant, 19th Battalion, Jagdalpur. Deepak Kumar Jha (2007 batch) has been appointed the Superintendent of Police (SP), Bastar (Jagdalpur).
