Lucknow: As many as 21 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have been reshuffled in Uttar Pradesh with immediate effect. Surya Pal Gangwa is the new District Magistrate (DM) of Lucknow. Kanpur Nagar District Magistrate Neha Sharma has been replaced with Vishak G, Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, as the new DM of Kanpur.

Abhishek Prakash has been posted as Firozabad DM. Prayagraj Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ravi Ranjan is the new DM of Firozabad. DM of Aligarh Selva Kumari J has been made the Commissioner of Bareilly Division. Soumya Agrawal is the new DM of Ballia, while Inder Vikram Singh has been shifted to Aligarh as DM.

Neha Sharma has been posted as Director, Local Bodies. This is the second big reshuffle in a month after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath retained power in the state in assembly elections concluded in March this year. Last month, 16 IAS officers were transferred. /BI/
