69 IAS officers reshuffled in Rajasthan, Ankit Kumar appointed Karauli Collector

Jaipur: Ankit Kumar Singh has been appointed District Magistrate and Collector of Karauli district in Rajasthan. Singh replaces Rajendra Singh Shekhawat who has been transferred to Jaipur as Commissioner, Departmental Inquiry. Earlier this month, Karauli district had witnessed violence, which had led to many people being injured.

In all, 69 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers were reshuffled in the state. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, Gaurav Goyal has been posted as Secretary to the chief minister. Ravi Jain has been made Commissioner, Jaipur Development Authority (JDA).

Vikas Sitaram Bhale is the new Divisional Commissioner of Jaipur, while Jitendra Kumar Upadhyay and Sanwarmal Verma have been posted as Divisional Commissioners of Jodhpur and Bharatpur respectively.

Saurabh Swamy has been appointed Pratapgarh District Collector, while Nishant Jain of Jalore, Nakate Shivprasad Madan of Alwar and Prakash Chandra Sharma of Banswara. Veenu Gupta, Dr Subodh Agarwal, Sudhansh Pant, Shikhar Aggarwal and Shreya Guha have also been transferred. /BI/
