7 IAS officers transferred, 3 given new posts in Bihar

Patna: The Bihar government has implemented a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring seven IAS officers across the state. Of these, four officers have been assigned additional charges, while three have been moved to new posts.

 

Mihir Kumar Singh, a 1993-batch IAS officer, currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Panchayati Raj Department, with additional charges as Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Mining Commissioner of the Mines & Geology Department, MD of Bihar State Minerals Development Corporation Limited, and MD of Bihar State Mining Corporation Limited, has now also been given the additional charge of Chief Enquiry Commissioner, General Administration Department (GAD).

 

Sanjay Kumar Agrawal, a 2002-batch IAS officer and Secretary of the Agriculture Department, with an additional charge as Enquiry Commissioner of the GAD, has now been assigned the additional role of Secretary of the Transport Department.

 

Deepak Anand, a 2007-batch officer, previously serving as Secretary (Expenditure) in the Finance Department and holding an additional charge as Secretary of the Labour Resources Department, has been transferred to the post of Secretary of the Labour Resources Department.

 

Ashima Jain, a 2008-batch IAS officer, formerly Secretary of the Urban Development & Housing Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary (Expenditure) in the Finance Department, along with the additional charge of Enquiry Commissioner, GAD.

 

B Kartikey Dhanji, a 2008-batch officer and State Project Director of the Bihar Education Project Council, with an additional charge as MD of the Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation, has been assigned the additional role of Enquiry Commissioner, GAD.

 

Pranav Kumar, another 2008-batch IAS officer, previously serving as Secretary of the Home Department with an additional charge as IG, Prisons and Correctional Services, has also been given the additional responsibility of Enquiry Commissioner, GAD.

 

Laxman Tiwari, a 2021-batch officer, previously posted as OSD in the Revenue and Land Reforms Department in Patna, has been transferred and posted as SDO of Chapra Sadar. /BI
