Shimla: Himachal Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has ordered the transfer and posting of seven IAS officers with immediate effect on the recommendation of the Civil Services Board. RD Dhiman, IAS (HP: 1988) has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture. He shall also hold the additional charge of Language, Art and Culture, and Revenue.

According to the official order, Prabodh Saxena, IAS,  (HP:1990), Additional Chief Secretary, Finance, 20-Point Programme, Economics and Statistics and Planning, shall also hold the additional charge of the Personnel Department. Onkar Chand Sharma, IAS, (HP: 1994), has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Tribal Development. He shall also hold additional charge of the posts of Principal Secretary, Technical Education and chairman, Appellate Tax Tribunal at Dharamshala.

GK Srivastava, IAS (HP:2002), Divisional Commissioner, Shimla Division, who is holding additional charge of the post of Divisional Commissioner, Kangra Division at Dharamshala, shall also hold the additional charge of the post of Divisional Commissioner, Mandi Division. Vikas Labroo, IAS (HP: 2003), has been appointed as Secretary, Jal Shakti Department.

Amitabh Avasthi, IAS, (HP:2004), is new Secretary, Health & Family Welfare and Horticulture, and shall continue to hold additional charge of the post of Director, Horticulture, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, till further orders. Dr SS Guleria, IAS (HP: 2006), Labour Commissioner-cum-Director of Employment, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, who is holding additional charge of the posts of Managing Director, General Industries Corporation, Himachal Pradesh, Managing Director, State Industries Development Corporation, Himachal Pradesh and Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, shall also hold additional charge of the post of Divisional Commissioner, Kangra Division at Dharamshala. /BI/
