New Delhi: Satish Golcha, a 1992 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of AGMUT cadre has been appointed new Director General of Police (DGP) of Arunachal Pradesh. Golcha was posted with the Delhi Police as a Special Commissioner. 

Golcha, who replaces RP Upadhyaya, will be the 24th DGP of Arunachal Pradesh. Arunachal Pradesh Police has the strength of more than 15,289 personnel.

The 1995 batch IPS officer Devesh C Shrivastava, currently posted as Special CP, Delhi Police, has been appointed the new DGP of Mizoram. He has replaced SBK Singh, a 1991 batch IPS officer, who has been transferred back to Delhi. /BI/
