Bhopal: In a significant reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh government has transferred 21 Indian Police Service officers. This move, announced late on the night of August 10th, includes changes among the superintendents of police in eight districts. ADG Shahdol DC Sagar has been reassigned to the Police Headquarters and appointed as ADG Complaints.

Anurag Sharma, previously posted in the CID Bhopal and recently promoted from DIG to IG, has been appointed as IG Shahdol. He is set to retire in 13 months. DIG Krishna Vani Desavatu and Amit Sanghi successfully secured transfers to each other’s previous positions. Krishna Vani has been made DIG SAF Central Range, while Amit Sanghi has moved from DIG SAF Central Range to DIG Gwalior. Sanghi has previously served as SP in Gwalior.

DIG Atul Singh of Khargone Range is now tasked with DIG SAF Jabalpur Range, while DIG Siddhart Bahuguna at PHQ has been transferred to DIG Khargone Range. SP Morena Shailesh Singh has been appointed as Commandant of the 13th SAF Gwalior, replacing Raghuwansh Kumar Singh who will now serve as Commandant of the 5th SAF Morena.

Commandant of the 10th SAF Sagar has been reassigned as SP Mhowganj, and AIG Nagendra Singh is the new SP of Balaghat. SP Anurag Sujania of Mandsaur has been moved to AIG at PHQ, and Sameer Sourabh, the former SP of Balaghat, will now serve as SP of Morena.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Indore Hansrah Singh is appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Zone-3 Indore. SP Anuppur Jitendra Singh Pawar will take over as Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-4 Bhopal. SP Pandurna Rajesh Kumar Tripathi is appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police Crime Indore, and Vitrendra Jain, the former SP of Mhowganj, is now SP of Sheopur. The Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-4 Bhopal is assigned as SP Pandurna, and Pankaj Kumar Pandey from Zone-3 Indore is now SP Raisen, replacing Vikas Sahwal who has been appointed SP Sagar.

SP Abhishek Tiwari of Sagar has been moved to Bhopal following the death of nine children in the Shahpur locality. SDOP Manawar Ankit Soni is the new Deputy Commissioner of Police Indore, and Commandant Hawk Force Balaghat Moti-Ur-Rehman is appointed as SP Anuppur. Lastly, SP Sheopur Abhishek Anand is the new SP of Mandsaur. /BI
