New Delhi: Senior IAS officer Mugdha Sinha has been appointed as the Managing Director of India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) Ltd. The appointment marks a significant elevation in her central deputation and places her at the Additional Secretary level under the Ministry of Tourism.

Sinha, a 1999-batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre, has four years remaining before superannuation. Her new role at ITDC was announced as part of a wider reshuffle by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) involving 15 IAS officers.

Until her appointment, Sinha served as Director General in the Ministry ofTourism, Government of India, where she contributed to shaping tourism policy at the national level.
