Seven IPS reshuffled Chhattisgarh

Raipur: In a reshuffle in the Department of Police, Chhattisgarh Government has issued posting orders for seven Indian Police Services (IPS) officers and one state cadre police officer.

Deepak Kumar Jha, a 2007 batch IPS officer, has been posted as Balodabazar-Bhatapara Superintendent of Police while Parul Mathur of 2008 batch has been appointed the SP of Bilaspur.

Indira Kalyan Elesela, a 2011 batch officer, has been made the Commandant of the Chhattisgarh Armed Force’s 11th Battalion in Janjgir-Champa and Mohit Garg of 2013 batch will be the Commandant of CAF’s 14th Battalion in Balod.

According to the official order, Arvind Kujur, an IPS officer of 2010 batch, has been appointed the Commandant of CAF’s 3rd Battalion in Durg. IPS officer Lal Umed Singh has been made the SP of Kabirdham. Dharmendra Singh Chhawai has been appointed Bemetara SP. State Cadre Police Officer Jhadu Ram Thakur has been made SP of Gariaband. /BI/
