Mumbai: Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd has secured a purchase order from Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Ltd (MAHAGENCO) worth approximately Rs 121.68 crore. This contract covers the supply, installation, and commissioning of an AI-based "comprehensive insecure project" at two sites: GTPS-Uran and KGSC-Pophali.
The announcement was made in a stock exchange filing, stating that the order includes all applicable taxes and duties. In addition to the primary project scope, Mazagon Dock will also provide annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for the equipment installed after the first year. The company anticipates completing the project by October 10, 2025.
Following the news, shares of Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd closed at Rs 4,431.10, reflecting an increase of Rs 344.95, or 8.44%, on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
