New Delhi: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has marked a significant achievement by exporting its HP lubricants to the United States for the first time, expanding its global footprint to 30 countries. HPCL's premium shock absorber oil, HP Shox Oil DC, has been chosen by Duroshox, a leading company specialising in vibration isolation and damping solutions, for use in solar panel dampers produced at their San Antonio, Texas facility.

The entry into the US market, the world’s largest consumer of lubricants, offers substantial growth prospects for HPCL as it aims to further its global lubricant business. Commenting on the development, CH Srinivas, Executive Director – Lubes, HPCL, expressed satisfaction with the company’s successful entry into such a prominent market, stating that the team is keen on exploring more growth opportunities and partnerships.

The first shipment of HP Shox Oil DC was flagged off during a ceremony at HPCL’s Mazgaon Terminal before being dispatched to Nhava Sheva Port in Mumbai for its journey to the United States. This marks a new chapter in HPCL’s efforts to strengthen its presence in international markets.
