New Delhi: Daljeet Singh Khatri has taken on the role of Director (Finance) at Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd  (HUDCO), effective 14th August 2024. An Associate Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers, Khatri brings over 26 years of experience from various financial institutions, including REC, SIDBI, and NHB. Prior to his appointment at HUDCO, he served as Executive Director (Finance) at REC.

Khatri has been instrumental in implementing systemic improvements at REC and has a diverse background in core finance functions. His expertise includes domestic and international funds mobilisation, treasury management, project appraisal, assets and liability management, risk management, financial concurrence, and the formulation of financial policies and procurement management.

Khatri does not hold any shares in HUDCO and is not related to other directors on the Board. He is also not barred from holding a director's position by any SEBI order or similar authority.

Sanjay Kulshrestha, CMD, and M. Nagaraj, DCP HUDCO, warmly welcomed Khatri to his new role. His extensive expertise is expected to provide valuable insights and leadership for HUDCO’s financial strategies. /BI
