New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited, a leading state-owned construction and project management company, has been awarded a prestigious ₹75 crore project to construct and develop additional infrastructure at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Nagpur. This expansion marks a significant step forward in enhancing the institute's facilities, located approximately 25 kilometers from the city.
The project follows the successful completion of Phase I, which included the construction of key structures such as an Academic Block (G+5), an Admin Block (G+2), a Hostel Block (G+10), and a Residential Block (G+11). Building on this foundation, Phase II will introduce new facilities aimed at providing a more conducive learning environment for the students.

Academic Block – B: The new academic block will provide state-of-the-art classrooms and academic facilities to support the growing student body.

Canteen: A new canteen with the capacity to serve approximately 200 students will be constructed, enhancing the institute’s dining options.

Multi-Purpose Hall: The project will include a large hall with the capacity to accommodate up to 1,000 students and guests, creating a versatile space for events, workshops, and conferences.
Additionally, the development will encompass crucial external infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical services, ensuring that the institute is well-equipped for its future growth. The expansion project underscores IIIT Nagpur’s commitment to providing high-quality education through modern infrastructure.
