New Delhi: Siba Prasad Patnaik is set to assume the position of Director (Finance) at Gliders India Limited. His selection was made by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) from a pool of 11 candidates. Patnaik currently serves as the Chief General Manager (Finance) at NCL India Limited, where he has garnered extensive experience in financial management across public sector enterprises.
His appointment is subject to final approvals and clearances from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
Established in 2021, Gliders India is a Defence Public Sector Undertaking (DPSU) that manufactures parachutes, floats, inflatable boats, and other accessories under the Atma Nirbhar Bharat initiative. The company is now expanding its reach into civilian adventure, recreational, and sports markets by offering equipment support for Para-gliders and Para-sails. /BI
