Chennai: Data Patterns (India) Ltd has launched a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme to support 13 children suffering from cancer. In collaboration with the Tiara Haemophilia and Cancer Foundation, the initiative aims to provide financial assistance and access to healthcare services for underprivileged children, ensuring they receive appropriate treatment.

 

The Chennai-based aerospace and defence electronic solutions company announced the programme, which is designed to offer these children the best possible care by partnering with renowned hospitals and healthcare providers. According to a statement released by the company on AAugust 10th, 2024, the CSR initiative focuses on ensuring that children from low socio-economic backgrounds receive timely and effective medical intervention.

 

Company Director Rekha Murthy Rangarajan emphasised the importance of equal healthcare access, stating, "We firmly believe that every child should have an equal opportunity in life, regardless of their circumstances, especially to treat illnesses. Cancer treatment has advanced immensely in recent times, and no child should lose to cancer due to their socio-economic conditions." /BI
