Lucknow: The Jagjeevan Ram Railway Protection Force Academy in Lucknow has been awarded the prestigious “Excellent/अति उत्कृष्ट” rating by the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) for its exceptional adherence to the National Standards for Civil Service Training Institutions (NSCSTI). This recognition highlights the Academy’s commitment to excellence in civil service training.
The accreditation certificates were presented by Dr Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions of India, during the Civil Service Training Institutions Convention held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on August 12, 2024.
Director General of Railway Protection Force, Manoj Yadava, congratulated the Director of the JR RPF Academy and his team, noting that the accreditation reflects their relentless dedication and exemplary efforts. He emphasised that this unique recognition underscores their commitment to elevating civil service training standards, positioning the Academy among the top six apex training institutions in the country.
The NSCSTI framework, introduced on July 18, 2022, aims to enhance the quality of civil service training institutions across India. This framework is the world’s first national-level standard for civil service training.
The accreditation process involved a thorough evaluation based on eight key pillars: Course Design, Faculty Development, Training Targets, Training Support, Digitalisation & Training Delivery, Collaboration, Training Evaluation, and Operations & Governance. The JR RPF Academy successfully met these rigorous standards, demonstrating its commitment to high-quality training and continuous improvement.
The evaluation included desktop assessments and on-site evaluations by a team from CBC and the National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (NABET). The Academy’s outstanding performance throughout this process earned it a place among the top six institutions out of approximately 149 assessed, reflecting its exceptional standards and achievements. /BI
