New Delhi: As part of the ongoing Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 campaign, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) launched an e-learning training module for Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2024 on the iGOT Karmayogi platform on 30 September 2024. This course is a vital step in equipping state and UT officials, ULB representatives, SafaiMitras, and citizens with the knowledge and skills needed to enhance cleanliness initiatives across the country. The Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal Khattar, unveiled the training module Swachhata Hi Seva 2024: Swabhav Swachhata – Sanskar Swachhata in the presence of the Chairperson, Secretary, CEO, and other members of the Capacity Building Commission, iGOT Karmayogi Bharat, and MoHUA officials.

While launching the training module, the Minister said, "This platform aims to encourage social behaviour change for Swachhata and foster capacity building, ultimately driving community-led initiatives for Swachh Bharat."

MoHUA introduced the e-module to promote capacity building for social behaviour change campaigns. Hosted on the iGOT platform at igotkarmayogi.gov.in, this interactive course provides easy access to various modules and activities, making it simple and effective. Upon completing the course, participants will be better equipped to promote effective waste management, public hygiene, and community-driven cleanliness campaigns, integrating cleanliness as a fundamental aspect of daily life. Under the awareness training for Swachhata Hi Seva 2024, participants can enrol in the course, select and play the module, complete the module, and receive a certificate after passing the assessment.
