New Delhi: Airtel Business, the B2B division of Bharti Airtel, has launched a new cybersecurity solution, ‘Airtel Secure Internet,’ aimed at providing advanced protection over Internet Lease Line (ILL) circuits. Developed in collaboration with global cybersecurity company Fortinet, the solution integrates Airtel’s trusted internet connectivity with Fortinet’s next-generation firewall technology to offer a fully managed defence against online threats.

This solution is designed to enhance security, especially for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), which often face challenges such as limited cybersecurity expertise and high costs for security infrastructure. Airtel Secure Internet provides a seamless way for businesses to secure their networks without large capital expenditure, while offering flexibility to upgrade or downgrade the service as required.

The service is managed through Airtel’s state-of-the-art Security Operations Centre (SOC), combined with Fortinet’s Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platform, ensuring a strong, proactive defence against potential threats. By leveraging AI and machine learning, Airtel’s SOC automates threat mitigation, providing businesses with a continuous layer of protection.

Sharat Sinha, CEO of Airtel Business, highlighted the increasing complexity of cybersecurity and the need for effective solutions. With Airtel Secure Internet, businesses can ensure comprehensive protection across multiple locations, including headquarters, regional offices, and remote sites, all connected through Airtel’s pan-India network. This integrated service combines threat detection, firewalls, antivirus, and content filtering from a single platform, simplifying security management for enterprises.
