New Delhi: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has signed an agreement with Chandigarh International Airport (CHIAL) for providing Skybooks360 – a comprehensive e-business solution for invoicing and accounting. The agreement was recently signed by Chandra Shekhar Tewari, DGM (BD), AAI and Rakesh Dembla, CFO, CHIAL, in the presence of IN Murthy, Chairman, CHIAL and AK Pathak, Member, Planning, AAI.
Pathak said that Skybooks360, which is a prestigious product of AAI for management of airports operations that improve service, reduce cost, manage security and increase efficiency at airports. SkyBooks360 is a unique system to provide an integrated e-business solution to airport operators. It is a comprehensive end to end solution for invoicing, financial management, accounting services and reporting, with interactive dashboard reporting, combining all aviation related complex processes, on a single platform.
Furthermore, this sophisticated service can be web-based, meaning no heavy IT implementation with zero down time, ensuring prompt and accurate accounting and reporting of diverse business and financial management needs, on a real time basis. SkyBooks360 is an International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) compliant tool.
CHIAL chairman Murthy emphasized that seamless integration of the business process of the airports will bring highest level efficiency, leading to more transparent processes exceeding the stakeholder’s expectations.
