New Delhi: Rajiv Singh, a 1993-batch IPS officer of Tripura cadre, has been transferred to Manipur cadre for a three-year term. Singh was serving as an Inspector General of Police in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved Singh's inter-cadre deputation. As per reports, either Singh or Ashutosh Sinha is expected to be the next Director General of Police (DGP) of Manipur cadre. /BI/
