Inspire Inclusion: Clean energy solutions powering women of New Bharat: Suman Rawat Chandra, IAS

This International Women's Day, we celebrate a brighter future fueled by access to clean energy. Imagine a world where rural women reclaim hours lost gathering firewood, breathe clean air unburdened by smoke, and illuminate their dreams with reliable and clean energy. This world is not a distant tomorrow, but a tangible present when energy empowers. New Bharat is making this a reality for its #NariShakti!

Clean energy solutions, like solar lamps, cook stoves, solar irrigation pumps, rooftop solar etc., are not just technology; they are torches that break the chains of time and tradition. They free women in both rural and urban areas to pursue education, generate income, and simply enjoy the freedom of leisure. Cleaner air, a result of cleaner energy, fosters healthier homes and brighter futures for women and children.

The power of well-lit areas transcends illumination. It grants women the freedom to move safely, day or night, within and beyond their homes. It fuels the entrepreneurial spirit, igniting businesses, fostering economic participation, and paving the path towards financial independence. Reliable energy unlocks the potential of technology, and is today empowering women to connect, learn, and access the tools that shape their destinies.

Investing in energy access is not just about powering homes; it's about igniting the spark of progress inspired by inclusion and with a spirit of not leaving anyone behind. It's about empowering women to reach their full potential and illuminate the path to a brighter future, not just for themselves, but for their communities.

Happy International Women's Day 2024! Let's celebrate the power within, and clean fuel the fire of change. #InspireInclusion
