New Delhi: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dr. Mane Medical Foundation and Research Centre, commonly known as Saidham Cancer Hospital, to support cancer and gynaecology surgeries. As part of this initiative, HPCL will provide advanced endoscopic operation camera equipment to the hospital, significantly enhancing its surgical capacity.

The initiative is aimed at expanding the hospital's ability to perform surgeries, particularly benefiting patients from rural areas who depend on accessible and affordable cancer care. With the introduction of this new technology, the hospital is expected to carry out around 1,800 surgeries annually, leading to improved treatment outcomes for both cancer and gynaecology patients. /BI
