ONGC Contributes Rs 100 crores to PM CARES Fund to Support Nation’s Battle Against COVID-19 and H3N2 Virus

New Delhi: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), India's Energy Maharatna has donated Rs 100 crores to the PM CARES Fund, which is aimed at providing assistance and relief to citizens in emergency situations.

The contribution will support the government's ongoing initiatives to enhance healthcare infrastructure and combat the COVID-19 and H3N2 influenza virus.

During the initial wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020, ONGC had donated Rs 300 crore to the PM CARES Fund.

In FY 2021-22, the company contributed an additional Rs 70 crore to the fund to sustain the medical equipment purchased by Oil Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs) during both pandemic waves.

ONGC, being a socially conscious organization, acknowledges the government's endeavors to safeguard the well-being of all stakeholders, including communities.

The company's donation will aid in providing essential resources to augment the government's healthcare initiatives.
