Kolkata: To promote Hindi as the official language, Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd., a Mini Ratna Category – I Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, organised the ‘Rajbhasha Utsav’ from 14 to 30 September 2024. Various events such as a Hindi quiz, extempore speaking, email writing, tagline and punchline writing, translation, and storytelling competitions were held for employees. Additionally, a Hindi poetry recitation competition was organised for employees’ children. A Hindi workshop was also part of the ‘Rajbhasha Utsav.’ The fortnight was celebrated across all offices, units, and establishments of Balmer Lawrie.
