Indore: The City of Indore is gearing up for the upcoming Indore Gaurav Divas. The district's administrative officials are leading the way in celebrating it with a cleanliness drive. On Sunday, Indore Collector Dr Ilayaraja T and his team of senior officials including Additional Collector, Deputy Collector, Tehsildars, and other officials, cleaned the Collectorate to make it spotless.
The officials worked alongside sanitation workers to collect waste plastic, pouches, garbage, and litter from the premises of the collectorate office. But that's not all. The officials also had breakfast with sanitation workers and took the time to talk to them about their life experiences.
The officials shared stories of their struggles and successes, and the sanitation workers shared their own experiences as well. The breakfast was a heartwarming gesture that brought the officials and sanitation workers together, making them feel appreciated and valued.
The celebrations don't stop here - blood donation camps will be organized at 30 locations in the city on Monday. The administration has set a target to collect more than 14,000 units of blood.
These camps will be organized by trade and industry associations, academic institutes, social organizations, and others. The blood donation camps are a great way for the people of Indore to come together and make a positive impact on their community. Indore is setting an excellent example for the rest of the country with its commitment to cleanliness, community, and public health. Keep up the great work, Indore! /BI/
