New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of R. Veerabahu as Director (Finance) of Braithwaite & Co. Ltd., a central public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Railways.

Veerabahu was selected from a panel of nine candidates.

According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) dated 18 September, Veerabahu’s appointment will be effective from the date he assumes charge. He will hold the position until his retirement on 31 August 2028, or until further orders, whichever comes first.

Prior to this appointment, Veerabahu was serving as General Manager (Internal Audit) at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) Corporate Office in New Delhi. /BI
