As many as 11 Indian Police Service (IPS) and eight Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have been transferred in Jharkhand. According to an official order, Shams Tabrez (2008: JH) has been posted as SP, Simdega while Ajay Linda (2008: JH) will take the charge of SP, West Singhbhum.
Deepak Sinha (2008: JH) has been given the charge of Superintendent of Police (SP), Jamtara. Sanjeev Kumar (2009: JH) goes as SP to Palamu, Indrajeet Mahatha (2009: JH) as Commandant to JAP-2, Ranchi.
Sanjay Ranjan (2009: JH) has been appointed as Commandant, RRB-2, Chaibasa. Kusum Punia (2010: JH) will take charge of SP, Special Branch. Sandhya Rani Mehta (2010: JH) has been given the charge of Commandant, JAP-10. Ashwini Sinha (2010: JH) is the new SP of Deoghar.
Anshuman Kumar (2013: JH) has been made Commandant, JAP-6, Jamshedpur, while Piyush Pandey (2014: JH) has been made SP, Netarhat Forest Welfare School.
Among the eight IAS officers who have been transferred, Shashidhar Mandal (2006: JH) has been posted as Special Secretary, Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Minority and Backward Classes Welfare Department. Basharat Qayoom (2016: JH) is the new Joint Secretary, Women, Child Development and Social Security Department. Chandan Kumar (2016: JH) has been appointed Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Dhanbad.
Himanshu Mohan (2016: JH) has been appointed Deputy Director, Krishna Institute of Public Administration. Lokesh Mishra (2016: JH) will take charge of ADM, Law and Order, Ranchi. Megha Bhardwaj (2016: JH) has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Planning and Finance Department. Vishal Sagar (2016: JH) will assume charge as Joint Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms. Karn Satyarthi (2016: JH) has been appointed Director, Land Acquisition Department.
