Gandhinagar| The Gujarat government has appointed eight IPS officers of the 2016-2018 batches as Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) after the completion of their training.
Shefali Barwal has been appointed SDPO (Dahod), Dr Lavina V Sinha (Viramgam), Abhay Soni (Amreli), Sushil Agrawal (Palanpur), and Hasan Safin Mustafaali, the youngest officer to have cleared the IPS in the country of 2018 batch, has been appointed SDPO of Bhavnagar.
Pooja Yadav also of the 2018 batch has been appointed SDPO of Tharad in Banaskantha district. Vikas Sunda and Om Prakash Jat, both of 2018 batch are now SDPO Bharuch and Veraval respectively.
