New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has cleared the empanelment of 24 Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes) officers for promotion to the rank of Principal Chief Commissioner/Principal Director General.

Among the 24 officers, Dr KN Raghavan retired in May this year, while 14 officers are set to retire next year. Three officers each will retire in 2026 and 2028, and four in 2027.
