Shimla: In a bid to further revamp civil administration, the Himachal Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has transferred 21 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers including the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) of seven districts. Aditya Negi is the new DC of Shimla. Amit Kashyap has been transferred as Labour Commissioner-cum-Employment Director.
According to a government notification, Harikesh Meena has been posted as Director, Energy; Hemraj Bairwa DC Kinnaur. Gopal Chand has been posted as Special Secretary, Multi-purpose Projects and Power, Non-conventional Energy Sources. Raghav Sharma is the new DC of Una. Sandeep Kumar has been transferred as Director, Personnel.
Rohit Jamwal has been posted as Bilaspur DC. Kamal Kant Sadoch is the new Director, Town and Country Planning. Pankaj Rai has been made the DC of Lahaul-Spiti at Keylong. Debasweta Banik will be the new Hamirpur DC.
Dr Ashwani Kumar Sharma has been appointed Special Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, while Nipun Jindal will now be a Member Secretary, HP State Pollution Control Board. Anupam Kashyap has been transferred to the post of Special Secretary, Tourism and Civil aviation.
Duni Chand Rana will be new DC of Chamba DC in place of Vivek Bhatia, who will now be Director, Department of Empowerment of SCs, OBCs, Minorities and specially abled. Hans Raj Chauhan is now Director, Land Records, and will hold the additional charge of the post of managing director, HP State Industrial Development Corporation, Shimla. Manasi Sahay Thakur will be the MD, HP State Civil Supplies Corporation. Sudesh Kumar Mokhta is the new Director, Environment Science and Technology.
Dr SS Guleria has been posted as the Registrar, Co-operative societies. Rajeshwar Goel has been posted as the managing director of HPMC, Shimla. Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) officer Manoj Kumar will hold the post of executive director, Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC).
