Ranchi: In an administrative reshuffle, the Jharkhand Government transferred 14 IAS officers.
Amit Kumar, the former Mines Director, now has assumed the role of Municipal Commissioner of Ranchi Municipal Corporation.
Similarly, Ajay Nath Jha, previously serving as Additional Secretary in the Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes Welfare Department, has taken on the mantle of Tribal Welfare Commissioner.
Arwa Rajkamal has been appointed as the Director of Mines with the additional charge of overseeing the Director of Industries.
Sanjay Sinha, who held the role of DDC Godda, now transitions to the role of Director of Agriculture, while Shashi Prakash, who served as Additional Secretary in the Health Department, takes on the role of Director of Social Welfare.
Sandeep Singh has been entrusted with the role of Chief Executive Officer of JSLPS. Bhuvanesh Pratap Singh, who held the position of Director of Social Welfare, now steps into the role of Chief Executive Officer of ZAP IT.
Gholap Ramesh Gorakh, formerly Joint Secretary in Rural Affairs, has been appointed Joint Secretary in the Finance Department.
The reshuffle extends to other key roles as well, with Suraj Kumar, the Chief Executive of JSLPS, assuming the role of Registrar of Cooperative Societies.
Sushant Gaurav, previously awaiting an assignment, has become the Director of Sports and Faiz Aq Ahmad Mumtaz, another officer awaiting posting, has now taken the charge of Excise Commissioner. Bhor Singh Yadav, formerly awaiting posting, now serves as the Commissioner of Commercial Taxes.
Madhavi Mishra is now at the helm of MD JUIDCO, leading urban development initiatives, while Aditya Ranjan steps into the role of Director of Animal Husbandry.
