New Delhi: The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has issued promotion orders for 15 Under Secretaries of the Central Secretariat Service (CSS), elevating them to the rank of Deputy Secretary.

The promoted officers are Arun Aggarwal from the Ministry of Power, Ajit Kumar from the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Deepak Gupta from the Department of Investment & Public Asset Management, Awadhesh Kumar Singh from the Department of Fisheries, Ashesh Kumar from the Department of Land Resources, Prem Prakash Maurya from the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Anjana from the Ministry of Culture, Sanjay Gupta from the Ministry of Culture, Gouri Shankar Jha from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Sanjay Kumar Gaur from the Ministry of Mines, Manoj Kumar Prabhat from the Department of Expenditure, Manoj Kumar Jha from the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Banshi Dhar Panwar from the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Abhay Kumar from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and Vivekanand Chaturvedi from the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change.

                                                                        

The promotions cover officers serving across a wide range of ministries and departments, including Power, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Home Affairs, Health & Family Welfare, Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Culture, Mines, Housing & Urban Affairs, Expenditure, Fisheries, Land Resources, Food Processing Industries, and Investment & Public Asset Management.

The appointments come as part of the regular career progression in the Central Secretariat Service, with the officers set to take on greater administrative and policy responsibilities in their respective ministries and departments.
