Jaipur: The Adani Group has announced plans to invest ₹7.5 lakh crore across various sectors in Rajasthan, with 50% of the investment slated for implementation within the next five years.
Speaking at the Rising Rajasthan Summit, Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and SEZ, outlined the company’s vision to create the world’s largest integrated green energy ecosystem in the state. This includes generating 100 gigawatts of renewable energy, producing 2 million tonnes of hydrogen, and establishing 1.8 gigawatts of pump-hydro storage. These initiatives aim to transform Rajasthan into a hub for green jobs.
The group also plans to strengthen its position in the cement sector with the addition of four new cement plants, increasing capacity by 6 million tonnes annually. Additionally, Adani Group will develop Jaipur Airport into a world-class facility and establish multi-modal logistics parks to align with Rajasthan's ambition to double its economy within five years.
Rajasthan remains a key focus for the Adani Group's expansion strategy, encompassing renewable energy, infrastructure, and industrial development.
