Kolkata: Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd., a diversified Miniratna Category I Public Sector Enterprise (PSE) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, has added another feather to its cap. The company’s Strategic Business Unit (SBU): Chemicals has been awarded the prestigious Silver Award at the India Green Manufacturing Challenge (IGMC) 2024.

As part of the selection process, IRIM conducted a comprehensive audit of Balmer Lawrie’s Manali Plant in Chennai, thoroughly evaluating its green manufacturing initiatives.
