New Delhi: Dr Siba Prasad Mohanty, Managing Director of Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL), has been elected as Co-Chairman of the Fertiliser Association of India (FAI).

With decades of experience in the fertiliser and chemical sectors, Dr Mohanty has been at the forefront of efforts to promote sustainable agricultural practices and balanced fertiliser use. His election to this leadership position at FAI reflects his commitment to strengthening industry collaboration, enhancing policy frameworks, and contributing to national goals of food security and self-reliant agriculture.

In his new role, Dr Mohanty will work with industry leaders and policymakers to address sectoral challenges and support innovation and growth in the fertiliser industry.
