New Delhi: Engineers India Ltd (EIL) has secured a project management consultancy contract worth ₹1,200 crore for the development of an academic institute of national importance. The company confirmed the agreement in an exchange filing, stating that a contract had been signed between EIL and the institute.
In addition to this, EIL has expanded its efforts in renewable energy as part of the National Mission for achieving Net-Zero. The company has installed rooftop solar photovoltaic (SPV) systems across all its offices and residential complexes nationwide.
On 1 February 2025, EIL CMD Vartika Shukla inaugurated a 437 KWp SPV system installed at various EIL offices and residential complexes. "With this, the total installed capacity of SPV systems at EIL buildings has reached 1,292 KWp," the company stated.
EIL, a Navratna PSU, is among the leading design and engineering organisations in South Asia. Established in 1965, it provides engineering consultancy and EPC services, primarily in the oil and gas and petrochemical industries. The company has also expanded into infrastructure, water and waste management, solar and nuclear power, and fertilisers.
