Bengaluru: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with BEML Limited to collaborate on leadership and technical training programmes aimed at skill development and professional excellence.

The agreement was signed by HAL Management Academy (HMA) Executive Director Srikantha Sharma and BEML Head of Talent Management Monideepa Roy in the presence of HAL Director (HR) A B Pradhan, BEML Director (HR) Debi Prasad Satpathy, HAL Executive Director (HR) M G Balasubrahmanya, and senior officials from both organisations.

Under this collaboration, HMA will conduct induction training, middle and senior management training, specialised workshops, and certification programmes covering Six Sigma, quality, reliability, data analytics, and Industry 4.0. The partnership will also offer industrial visits, knowledge-sharing sessions, joint conferences, internships, and project-based learning opportunities for BEML professionals.

HAL and BEML officials highlighted the role of continuous learning in strengthening expertise in defence and heavy engineering. The initiative aims to equip professionals with advanced knowledge and skills, contributing to the development of India’s defence manufacturing sector.
