New Delhi: HP Lubricants, a division of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), has officially entered the Sri Lankan market through a partnership with Sea World Lanka. This collaboration enhances trade relations between India and Sri Lanka and introduces a wide range of lubricants to the local market.

At a launch event held in Colombo, India's Deputy High Commissioner in Sri Lanka, Satyanjal Pandey, inaugurated the venture. Sea World Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., the exclusive distributor of HP Lubricants in Sri Lanka, will offer a diverse selection of products, including automotive oils, industrial oils, marine oils, and specialty greases. The partnership aims to meet the needs of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in Sri Lanka's automobile assembly industry, significantly expanding the range and quality of lubricants available in the country.

The automotive oils range includes high-performance, SLS-certified multi-grade oils suitable for diesel and petrol engines, hybrid engines, motorcycles, and three-wheelers. The product line also covers manual and automatic gear oils, railroad oils, brake oils, electric vehicle-compatible oils and greases, and tractor oils.

For the industrial sector, HP Lubricants will provide a variety of oils, including rubber processing oils, hydraulic oils, industrial gear oils, compressor oils, cylinder oils, refrigerator oils, transformer oils, turbine oils, steel filing oils, wire rope oils, synthetic and food-grade oils, and mineral and synthetic industrial greases. The product range also includes oils and greases designed for use in sugar mills.
