New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) to develop a state-of-the-art institutional complex in Sector 62, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The project, valued at approximately Rs 600 crore, will be developed on a 10-acre land parcel owned by HUDCO.
The MoU was signed by A K Goyal, Executive Director (Engineering), NBCC, and S Thankraju, Executive Director (Projects, Design & Supervision), HUDCO, in the presence of K P Mahadevaswamy, CMD of NBCC, Saleem Ahmad, Director (Projects), NBCC, and Sanjay Kulshrestha, CMD of HUDCO, along with senior officials from both organizations on November 27, 2024.
The project will be executed by NBCC on a “Concept to Commissioning” basis, featuring a mixed-use design with institutional office spaces and commercial areas. Sustainability will be a central focus, incorporating energy-efficient systems, terrace gardens, solar power, rainwater harvesting, green roofing, and advanced water management.
The complex aims to set a benchmark in environmentally responsible development, emphasizing sustainable site planning and resource management to mitigate urban heat effects and promote energy efficiency.
