NFL Bathinda unit holds session on ethics and integrity

Bathinda: The Bathinda Unit of National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) organized a session on “Ethics & Ethical Behavior to Curb Corruption and Malpractices at Workplace & in Society at Large.” The programme was inaugurated by T. K. Batra, Chief General Manager (CGM), and conducted by external faculty member Prof. Raj Kumar Mahajan. The session witnessed active participation from employees, reflecting the company’s emphasis on strengthening transparency and accountability in organizational practices.

Incorporated in 1974, NFL is a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers. The company is among the country’s leading producers of urea and industrial chemicals. NFL’s vision is “to be a leading Indian company in fertilizers and beyond with commitment to all stakeholders,” and its mission underscores the importance of quality, safety, ethics, professionalism, energy conservation, and ecological concern alongside serving the farming community.

Sessions like the one held at Bathinda align with NFL’s broader mission to uphold high ethical standards while contributing to national food security. By reinforcing the values of integrity and responsible behavior among employees, NFL continues to strengthen its position not just as a fertilizer manufacturer but as an organization committed to sustainable and ethical growth.
