Panipat: The Panipat Unit of National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has been awarded the Second Prize in the State Level Energy Conservation Awards 2024, conferred by the Department of New & Renewable Energy, Government of Haryana. The recognition highlights NFL’s consistent efforts to enhance energy efficiency and adopt sustainable practices across its operations. Shri B. M. Jha, Chief General Manager, Panipat Unit, received the award on behalf of the company.
Instituted by the Department of New & Renewable Energy, the State Level Energy Conservation Awards aim to encourage industries, commercial establishments, government institutions, and individuals to implement innovative and effective energy-saving measures. The awards are coordinated by Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA), the State Designated Agency under the Energy Conservation Act, 2001, which promotes efficient use of energy and reduction in greenhouse gas emissions across sectors.
