The accolades were conferred in the categories of "Cyber Security Champion" and "Cyber Security and Data Protection & Data Centre Excellence." Adding to the honor, Haritima Jaipuriar, General Manager of IT and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), received the prestigious 'Digital Security Leader (CISO) of the Year Award.'

Renowned as one of the largest neutral telecom infrastructure and ICT solutions and services providers in the country, RailTel showcased its prowess in the cybersecurity domain. The Cyber Security Champion Award recognizes RailTel's adept implementation of secure configuration management, firewall deployment, and intrusion prevention systems during the G20 Summit in New Delhi. In the realm of "Cyber Security and Data Protection & Data Centre Excellence," RailTel demonstrated its commitment to the operational and secure handling of data. The company's two-Tier III Data Centers, integral to its nationwide network, play a crucial role in storing and transmitting critical data for clients, including the Ministry of Railways, as well as major public and private sector companies. RailTel's Security Operation Centre, providing onsite and offsite security, further contributed to its excellence in this domain.
