Hyderabad: Recently V Srinivas, Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances and Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare, Government of India visited NMDC headquarters along with his team to conduct a comprehensive review on the company’s initiatives under the Special Campaign 3.0.
Srinivas interacted with the senior management of NMDC to evaluate the outcomes of the Swachhata campaign and chalk out future plans. He appreciated NMDC’s efforts of engaging the citizens in the campaign and striving to build a paperless office. Srinivas encouraged NMDC to plan a creative project with waste and scrap at its townships and run a mega awareness campaign on replacing plastic with more sustainable options such as Steel.
He appreciated NMDC’s efforts towards keeping its offices, projects and township clean and hygienic. Nagendra Nath Sinha, Secretary Ministry of Steel along with Abhijit Narendra, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Steel also visited NMDC’s regional office in Delhi recently to review the ongoing Swachhata activities as part of the Special Campaign 3.0.
The visits aimed at assessing NMDC's role in the Special Campaign 3.0 and encouraging the public sector employees to continue their campaigns towards building a sustainable future. /BI/
