Mumbai: Dentsu India and Dentsu Global Services have unveiled their “Impact Forward” CSR Report for 2024–25, marking an investment of ₹9.83 crore to support inclusive growth across education, healthcare, and sustainability. Through partnerships with 27 NGOs, the initiative has improved the lives of over 72,000 people while advancing Dentsu’s long-term goal of positively impacting one million lives by 2030.
The report highlights that 72,145 students benefitted from improved learning outcomes, 17,476 expectant mothers received support through community health initiatives, and 15,144 saplings were planted as part of Dentsu’s environmental sustainability drive.
Harsha Razdan, CEO, Dentsu South Asia, said, “Innovation is our responsibility—shaping a future where positive change measures success.”
A major success of the year was the education partnership with 321 Education Foundation under the PARaM Framework, which recorded a threefold improvement in English and mathematics proficiency among 19,045 children across six states. The initiative also involved teacher training and self-learning video resources supported by Dentsu volunteers.
The CSR program also launched 40 childcare centres, enabling 81 women entrepreneurs to start microenterprises, and provided clean drinking water to 1,356 students and teachers. In healthcare, 157 underprivileged patients received free treatments, while 316 rural households benefitted from solar irrigation systems that promote climate-resilient farming.
The report reflects Dentsu’s broader CSR vision centred on four pillars: education and skill development, technology for social good, inclusive communities, and collaboration for large-scale social causes. All initiatives are aligned with Indian CSR regulations and focus on creating lasting social and environmental value.
According to Dentsu, its “B2B2S” (Business to Business to Society) model integrates storytelling with impact, bringing forward the voices of teachers, farmers, and community members who are driving change.
Irwin Raj, Head of Sustainability and Social Impact, Dentsu APAC, said that the company’s focus goes beyond statutory CSR to strengthen grassroots organisations. Joel Gonsalves, Director, Talent & OD India and CSR Champion at Dentsu Global Services, said that these initiatives are “opening STEM doors for underserved children and strengthening communities through environmental projects.”
Founded in 1901, Dentsu has evolved into a global network focused on linking innovation with social progress, using creativity and technology to help build a more inclusive and sustainable India.
